Sajama
Quick visit to Sajama national park where you can find the highest point of Bolivia: volcano Sajama with a 6540m height. It is not easy to go to Sajama: we must take a bus from La Paz which is leaving you nowhere on the road and the we have to catch a car to drive us over the 11 km of track till Sajama village. When arriving at Sajama village, we are feeling like a no man’s land with very poor activity in the village and almost no gringos. As weather is not very good (we had snow), we decide to shorten our journey here and stay just one night. Nevertheless, we have sun time to time and we are able to walk around the mountains and enjoy the wonderful landscapes. We even are able to take a bath in natural hot water.
